Wow cool! I look forward to seeing yall here!! I'll let you know now, but I don't have an exact date, but Marty and I are getting married probubly next month or in August. We have alot of planning to do. I know it's short notice, but it's something that his family won't let us wait on. We HAVE to be married before Colin is born. I went to the midwife again this morning and my bp was 150/86. The nurse said my heart was just pounding. It's staying in that range quite a bit and she asked when I see the specialist. I told her I see them today at 11:15. She told me she wanted me to ask the dr what they want to do about the bp. I asked them and they said that they've noticed it's elevated and if it gets any higher they will treat it. I'm still having a little ketones but the infection is gone. I have an ultrasound in 2 weeks with the specialist. They will look at his heart real closely. In 4 weeks I have an ultrasound at my regular doctors. The specialist told me to inform my boss now that in my third trimester they will watch me every week and do ultrasounds to watch the baby. So I'll have alot of appointments then. He's just going to have to understand. The midwife is concerned about me running into pre-term labor and depending on how things go, in the last month she will only let me work half days! . It seems like now that I'm getting furthur along, they aren't playing games anymore. They are watching things, like my bp, more closely. He's still got a good heartbeat and I'm growing like I should. My daytime blood sugars are good, maybe even a little over corrected. My nighttime ones are still a little elevated, averaging 145. I'm on 36 units combined insulin at night. That sucks because now I have to double inject. My syringes are only 30 units. But it's all worth it ya know!? Marty's mother and brother have been great. His brother gave us a nice bassinette, swing, boxes of toys and clothes, a vibrating seat, and a few other things. His mom got us a crib and a stroller/car seat combo. It's REAL nice. Only used one time in a photo shoot. She also got us a playpen with a baby insert and a child gate. Looks like we're about set! I don't think I need a baby shower! Unless all the presents are all diapers! LOL I'll talk to you later. Let me know if you need anything before you come down here.
